In some of the studies we are currently carrying out we are looking for volunteers to understand more about COVID-19 in childhood and pregnancy. Below you can see those that are currently open.

Online research surveys

Rare diseases and COVID-19

To whom is it addressed? To patients with a rare disease, whether o not they have had COVID-19, or to their caregivers.

What is it about? Answering some short surveys to help understand how COVID-19 appears and evolves in patients with rare diseases and thus be able to study how to best treat it.

Estimated time: 10 minutes.

COVID-19 and its risk to children and their health during confinement

To whom is it addressed? To families with children at home (both to the parents and to children aged between 7 and 16) who have been confined during the COVID-19 pandemic. It doesn’t matter whether anyone in the home has had COVID-19 or not, the survey is aimed at all families with children who have been confined together.

What is it about? Answering a single survey to help understand the risk of COVID-19 infection in children, the transmission inside homes, and the consequences that confinement has had on children’s health.

Estimated time: 15 minutes (adults) and 5 minutes (children).

Pregnancy and COVID-19

To whom is it addressed? To women who are or have been pregnant during the COVID-19 pandemic. It does not matter whether you have had COVID-19 or not, the survey is aimed at all pregnant women.

What is it about? Answering a single survey to help understand the risk of infection and of COVID-19 symptoms during pregnancy.

Estimated time: 5 minutes.

EmCoVID19 Study

To whom is it addressed? To parents and guardians who live with their sons and daughters aged between 4 and 18.

What is it about? Answering a monthly survey, between May and December 2020, to study the emotional and behavioral impact that the situation generated by COVID-19 can bring with it. After each survey, you will receive recommendations to help your child. 

Estimated time: 10 minutes per survey.
