Help from wider society has always played an integral role in our centre's more than 150-year history. Nowadays, donations are vital so we can carry out projects that are not publicly funded, such as emotional distraction activities, researching the diseases that affect our brave little heroes, improving and expanding our infrastructures, acquiring cutting-edge medical equipment, helping families through their difficulties, healthcare projects run without any prior economic resources, as well as international cooperation projects for children living in the most disadvantaged countries.
