Thank you very much for wanting to organise a charity event in support of the SJD Barcelona Children's Hospital. This is a wonderful way of helping us bring a huge number of our projects to life.
Here are the 3 steps:
1. Select your preferred charity event
Come up with some ideas for a charity event or campaign that you would like to hold and that you think would be possible. If you want to get inspired by past events that were successful, here you have a guide that could be helpful.
2. Tell us about your idea to see if it is doable
If you already have a clear idea, tells us about it in the form 'Share your idea for a charity event'. Our team will get in touch with you in a few days to discuss it with you and figure out details.
3. Transfer the funds raised and let us spread the word of your generosity
Once your event is over, transfer the funds raised into the corresponding bank account of the project you would like to support. Our team will help guide you if you are unsure. It is very important that you send us the proof of transfer to atenciondonante@sjd.es, along with the document confirming that the charity event is over. This is so we can share information about your generosity and also to help us figure out tax details for the donation.
"We created an annual fundraiser as an excuse to celebrate Mia's birthday. We ask the guests that if they had planned to give her something, they put the money in a solidarity urn for the hospital. That way, we contribute to the research and give Mia added values.”
