Our website is compatible with and presents a correct visualization with the various browsers tested (Mozilla, Edge, Safari, Chrome), in both their desktop and mobile versions.

Coherent browsing

The browsing system of our website is coherent and consistent. It is always located in the same place with the same format and content, offering an enjoyable, easy and intuitive user experience. 

No distractions

All distractions on the website that can impede quick and clear access and reading of content have been avoided. There are no elements that flash or vibrate with inappropriate colours or which feature unexpected or unnecessary movements.

Images with embedded texts

All content, except for logos or brand images has mostly been designed without embedded text.

Titles

Page titles match the browsing menu sections, providing the required coherence and consistency so that users do not get lost on the website. Titles are also used to guide and contextualise users by means of the different sections that may contain pages.

Colour contrast

The visual characteristics of the website (typeface, text colour and background, etc.) have been defined using style sheets. These elements comply with WCAG 2.0 AA standard with respect to contrast level.

Forms

The forms included on the website contain identifying labels in their fields and controls associated correctly to facilitate their use to the maximum.

Language

The language of the pages is easily identifiable and can be configured and is correctly and visibly marked.

Social networks

Connections to the hospital's social networks are easily accessible from the website. 

Audiovisual content player

Audiovisual content players pertain to platforms (YouTube and Vimeo) that offer accessible systems to users of any type of device, keyboard users and the blind.

Audiovisuals with description

The audiovisual elements included on the website feature descriptions and subtitles where necessary.

Language

The language used on the website is clear, simple and appropriate to the public at which the content is aimed.
SJD Barcelona Children's Hospital website has been designed to facilitate access for everyone who visits the site, regardless of their physical, sensory or intellectual abilities, and the technical context of how they access the site (type of device, computer program, connection speed, environmental conditions, etc.)

To this end, we work with the objective of adapting the website to W3C recommendations to eliminate all barriers that impede access to information and communication. These recommendations are set down in the website accessibility guidelines of WCAG 2.1 at AA level.
