I graduated in Medicine from the University of Barcelona and specialised in Paediatrics at the SJD Barcelona Children's Hospital (2008–2012). Subsequently, I worked at the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute, carrying out my work in Tanzania at the Ifakara Health Institute (2012–2016), where I focused on operational research and paediatric care for patients with HIV/AIDS.

During my stay in Tanzania, I completed a PhD in Epidemiology and Public Health at the University of Basel (Switzerland), defending a thesis in 2017 focused on the prevention of vertical transmission of HIV and the approach to HIV/AIDS in the paediatric population.

Since 2018, I have been working as a paediatrician specialising in infectious diseases at the SJD Barcelona, where I treat children and adolescents with serious or recurrent infections, with a special focus on osteoarticular and central nervous system infections, as well as adolescents with sexually transmitted infections. I am also part of the hospital's PROA team.

I combine my healthcare work with participation in research projects on paediatric infectious diseases and teaching, collaborating in the continuing education of medical students during their rotation in the Paediatrics department.
