During your stay at the Hospital, whether it is a one-off visit or for a few days, we can help you with various aspects, both practical and emotional. Our Support and Accompaniment services are centralised in the Espai Famílies. In addition, the centre also has:
Open from 07:30 am (08:30 am weekends and holidays) to 09:30 pm. Please ask at the entrance for lunch and dinner times. You can also ask for information about the possibility of special diets.
There are snack and sundry machines, special products such as nappies, dummies or tokens for companion bedding, and filtered water fountains.
They are located in space B11 and operate with tokens purchased at the shop - kiosk in the main lobby. The lift only goes to the B10 floor.
Located in the main lobby and open during the day. You can consult the timetable of the different liturgical celebrations at the door.
It is a non-denominational space open to users and professionals seeking a time of peace and tranquillity.
With newspapers, gifts, toys and basic toiletries, among other products. You will find it in the main lobby.
In the main lobby of the Hospital there is a ‘CaixaBank’ bank office and ATM. Check the opening hours at the door.
If you need to leave your luggage for a few hours or if you have lost something, please contact the Espai Famílies, where we can help you with these issues.
Hospital charity gift shop
At the Hospital itself, you can also buy gifts from our gift shop, again helping to fund donation-funded projects. Many of the products sold there are hand-crafted and have been lovingly donated by people, businesses and charities. You can find it in the main atrium.
Facilities near the SJD Barcelona Children's Hospital
Around the centre there are several playgrounds with some facilities adapted for children with reduced mobility.
Located just behind the Hospital, at c. Santa Rosa, 5. It has no link with Sant Joan de Déu.
It is located 400 metres from the hospital, at Avda. Països Catalans, 89.
City parking areas dependent on Esplugues de Llobregat City Council, with the rates established by the council.
