I have always been fascinated by how the brain works and how its differences influence the way we learn, think, and relate to others. As neuroscientist Nazareth Castellanos says, “our brain changes and evolves more than we think,” an idea that guides my clinical practice, which is centered on each patient as a unique individual and on adapting my interventions to their specific needs in order to enhance their abilities, strengthen their skills, and promote their overall well-being, always based on scientific evidence.
My work encompasses the diagnosis and intervention of neurodevelopmental disorders. I am convinced that the small contributions we make with each patient can lead to major transformations in their lives, in the lives of those around them, and, in the long term, in society.
I currently carry out my clinical activity at the School Learning Disorders Unit (UTAE) at SJD Barcelona Children's Hospital and participate in teaching and workshops aimed at professionals and families, with the goal of improving the approach to children with learning differences.
