I hold a degree in Medicine from the Universitat de Barcelona and a PhD from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. I specialised in Ophthalmology at the University Hospital Mútua de Terrassa, focusing primarily on medical and surgical conditions of the retina and vitreous. I currently work in the Ophthalmology Department at SJD Barcelona Children's Hospital. I am also a lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine of the Universitat de Vic - Universitat Central de Catalunya.

My work combines clinical practice, teaching and research, with scientific publications, participation in conferences and innovation projects in ophthalmology.
