I have a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the Universitat de Barcelona. I specialised in Paediatrics and its specific areas at the SJD Barcelona Children's Hospital. Subsequently, I obtained a Master's degree in Neuropaediatrics from the same university. Since then, I have continued my training, especially in neurodevelopment, neonatal and genetic epilepsies, as well as movement disorders.

I am a member of the European Reference Network for Complex and Rare Epilepsies (EpiCARE), the European Paediatric Neurology Society (EPNS) and the Spanish Society of Paediatric Neurology (SENEP).

Furthermore, research is an essential part of my clinical work, as I firmly believe that it represents a window of hope for our patients and their families, as well as a fundamental tool to improve our clinical practice on a daily basis.
