María José Torres Prades

As a specialist in child and adolescent clinical psychology, I work in the School Learning Disorders Unit at SJD Barcelona Children's Hospital, guiding families, supporting patients, and coordinating resources with their environment. For the past 10 years, I have worked with children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental disorders and also their families helping them to live a full and as happy a life as possible.

I began my career working with children with autism spectrum disorder in natural settings, where I learned a great deal about the daily life of families. My professional goal is to offer others a model of possible well-being and a safe space where they can be themselves.
