I have been a neuropsychologist since before I knew psychology existed. I have always been deeply fascinated by the biology of human beings and their minds: their ability to create representations and make sense of reality through language, thought and emotion.
When I started my degree, I discovered my passion for child psychology. I understood that in children everything is yet to be written, and that any small seed you plant in them can bear fruit that will accompany them throughout their lives. After years of working in schools and in disadvantaged environments, I found in neuropsychology the key to unite all my concerns and interests. It was then that I realised that I had already been a neuropsychologist long before I knew it.
Today, I am passionate about my work. I focus on the diagnosis and approach to neurodevelopmental disorders (dyslexia, ADHD, dyscalculia, TDL, ASD), as well as on the accompaniment of children with high abilities (AACC), an area in which I coordinate the commission in my unit. I also participate in teaching and dissemination activities to improve the understanding of children with different learning styles. Day by day, I continue to write my trajectory, learning from each family I accompany and convinced that my work contributes to the wellbeing of society as a whole.
