I am a specialist in brain and spinal cord tumours developed by children and adolescents. Degree in Medicine from the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia, pediatrician at the Hospital Vall d'Hebron in Barcelona, oncologist, hematologist and pediatric transplant specialist through the University of Chicago/Comer Children’s Hospital and neuro-oncologist pediatrician through Harvard University/Dana Farber Cancer Institute (Boston, United States). I also have an interest in health management, having obtained a Master’s Degree in health management from the Universitat de Barcelona.

I am interested in global pediatric oncology and I am involved in several projects that aim to improve the training of pediatric oncologists in countries with limited resources, as well as in projects for improving the access of children and adolescents with cancer to centres of excellence for diagnosis and appropriate treatment. I believe that every pediatric patient with cancer deserves the opportunity to receive potentially curative treatment and be offered the best possible quality of life.
