We offer four biomedical diagnosis service specialities to healthcare professionals: laboratory, confocal microscopy, anatomical pathology and paediatric tissue biobank.
Our departments serve from the Hospital itself and from the Parc Sanitari Sant Joan de Déu, as well as from other external centres.
Paediatric biobank for research
The biobank provides biological samples to researchers with the aim of promoting translational biomedical research.
Anatomical pathology
We analyse adaptations which occur in organs, tissues and cells in different paediatric, maternal-foetal and gynaecological diseases in order to learn their origin and in order to help determine clinical activity guidelines.
