Andrea Aldemira Liz

I have been working as a pediatrician at SJD Barcelona Children's Hospital since 2012 as a member of staff on the pediatrics ward. Before that, I completed my training as a junior doctor at the Virgen del Rocío Hospital in Seville. In addition to working on pediatric hospital wards, I have experience in complex chronic patients (2014–2019), as well as in homecare (the SJD at Home programme) since 2022, which now takes up part of my workload.

• Aid worker for the SOS Refugiats (SOS Refugees) project under an agreement between SJD Hospital and the Women and Health Alliance (WAHA) in Chios (Greece), August–September 2016.
• Internship at Garrahan Hospital (Buenos Aires, Argentina) in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, February–March, 2012.

Teaching

• Collaborating lecturer in clinical subjects on the Degree in Medicine, University of Barcelona, 2014–2015, 2016–2017 academic years.
