Georgina Armero Campos

• Degree in Medicine at the University of Barcelona (Bellvitge Campus) in 2003–2009.
• Completion of the specialisation in Pediatrics and Specific Areas at SJD Barcelona Children's Hospital (Esplugues de Llobregat) in 2010–2014.
• Fellowship at the pediatric intensive care unit of SJD Barcelona Children's Hospital (July 2014–June 2016). Subsequently worked as attending physician at the Hospital’s pediatric intensive care unit from June 2016 to October 2018. Worked on call as an attending physician at the pediatric and neonatal intensive care unit of Parc Taulí University Hospital (Sabadell) from July 2016 to June 2017).
• From November 2018 to the present I have worked as a pediatric attending physician at SJD Barcelona Children's Hospital.
• In March 2021, I joined the hospital’s neurosurgical team as a ward pediatrician.
• I began the doctoral programme at the University of Barcelona’s Faculty of Medicine (Clínic Campus) in Februray 2021.
• I am conducting research in HSJD’s field of research into respiratory infections in children.
