Maria Coronas Soucheiron

After completing my studies in medicine, I specialised in pediatric surgery for five years at the SJD Barcelona Children’s Hospital. During this time, I discovered a profound passion for pediatric surgical oncology, and decided to focus my career on this area. I am currently undertaking the fellowship in pediatric surgical oncology at this hospital, making the most of the new opportunities offered by the Pediatric Cancer Center Barcelona. My goal is to continue growing in this field, both personally and professionally, making a difference in the care and treatment of pediatric patients with cancer.

• Volunteer work on the surgical campaign in the Lodwar and Kakuma Hospitals (Turkana, Kenya). 2022.
• Volunteer work in the health and clinical mobility project on the Lobur Mission (Turkana, Kenya). 2014, 2015, 2016.
