Mariona Fernández de Sevilla Estrach

I have spent my entire professional career at the SJD Barcelona Children's Hospital. I completed my residency from 2004 to 2008, then worked for a few months in the Paediatric Emergency Department, and in October 2008 I started working in paediatric hospitalisation.

In 2018, I worked with the Head of the Paediatrics Department, coordinating paediatric hospitalisation, and in 2025 I was appointed Head of the Paediatrics Department.

As Chief of this department, I want to contribute to the growth of Hospital Paediatrics and Outpatient Paediatrics, strengthen the relationship with the region for which we are the reference hospital, and promote the Social Paediatrics (ESTIM), Sports Medicine and Environmental Health units.
