Susana Rives among the 100 best medical professionals in Spain according to Forbes magazine

Dr Susana Rives, head of the Leukaemia and Lymphoma Unit of the Oncology Department, has been recognised as one of the 100 best doctors in Spain according to the list published by Forbes magazine.

Forbes has published for the fifth consecutive year the list "The Best Doctors" with the 100 most recognised names in medical care, research and teaching in Spain.

This list includes a total of 18 doctors from hospitals in Catalonia, including the Hospital Universitari Vall d'Hebron, the Hospital Clínic and the Hospital Germans Trials i Pujol.

Since 2002, Susana Rives has worked as a specialist physician in the Paediatric Haematology and Oncology Department and combines healthcare with research, focusing especially on paediatric acute lymphoblastic leukaemia and paediatric Philadephia-positive leukaemias. Since 2013, she has been a member of the ALL development committee of the spanish society of paediatric haematology and oncology (SEHOP). She currently coordinates the SEHOP working group of the Philadelphia-positive chronic myeloid leukaemia registry and T-CAR lymphocyte therapy.
