The SJD Barcelona Children's Hospital is committed to preventing and treating pain in a transversal manner throughout the entire hospital.

The Pain Unit offers specialised care to pediatric patients with acute or chronic pain. Patient pain is approached from a bio-psychosocial model, with the aim of treating the pain and improving functionality and quality of life.
