Hearing impairment

We perform an exhaustive hearing examination to determine if the deafness is transitory or permanent, as well as the degree thereof, cause, evolution and most suitable treatment.

Hearing prostheses

Whenever indicated, we perform the treatment for improving hearing in children through hearing prostheses, through both surgical and non-surgical application

Middle-ear surgery

In disorders such as chronic otitis media, cholesteatoma, perforation of the eardrum, otosclerosis, and malformations of the middle ear, the reconstruction of the chain of bones.

Our Integral Functional Microtia Unit (UFIM) offers integral care for children affected by this congenital malformation.

Aetiologic diagnosis of deafness

We have clinical genetic guidance and imaging and laboratory diagnosis techniques to determine the origin of deafness, whether genetic or owing to other causes.

Sinusitis (nasal obstruction)

We explore all available techniques (rigid and fibre-optic endoscopy, MRI and/or computerised tomography) to prescribe the best treatment.

Obstructive sleep apnoea / hypopnoea syndrome

Exhaustive study of the case to determine the cause of the illness and to apply the best therapeutic indication, such as tonsil reduction.


We analyse the cause to indicate the most suitable treatment, both voice (re)training, when the cause is functional, and surgery, in congenital or acquired lesions.

Malformations, laryngotracheal obstruction

Treatment and surgery of congenital and acquired complex malformations, such as the bilateral paralysis of the vocal cords or sub-glottal and tracheal stenosis, among others.

Dysphagia and aspirations

In conjunction with gastroenterology we diagnose laryngeal fissure, the frequent cause of chronic choking in children. Said of the treatment is performed by laryngeal laser microsurgery.
