Guidelines before and during admission to maintain a safe hospital

In order to attend to the arrival of new patients in the pandemic context, the SJD Barcelona Children's Hospital has adopted different measures to guarantee a safe and COVID-free hospital.

Before and during hospital admission to the SJD Barcelona Children's Hospital, international patients should take into account the following guidelines.

How we keep our patients safe

SJD Barcelona Children's Hospital has deployed a series of measures since the beginning of the pandemic for the safety of patients, their companions, and professionals. Measures have been adapted according to the evolution of the pandemic. At the height of the pandemic, restricted areas were set up to treat COVID-positive patients, specific screening circuits and systems for disinfection, waste management, and air ventilation renovation. The implementation of these measures temporarily changed the hospital landscape.
