Become a SJD patient
We want your experience at SJD Barcelona Children's Hospital to be as pleasant as possible and to ensure that every patient receives the best possible care that we can provide. Below we outline the process of how to become an international patient at the Hospital.
So that our medical team can properly assess your case, please fill in the form Tell us about your case with as many details as possible, including all relevant patient information and details for their point of contact.
With the information you provide us, our International Department will get in touch with you to request the patient's most recent medical reports and results of additional tests (imaging, laboratory tests, etc.). You can also send us any audiovisual materials (photos or videos) that show the patient's current condition. It is very important that any reports or test results are recent, so that our staff can properly assess the case.
As soon as we receive your request, we will assign you a Case Manager, who will be your point of contact up until you arrive at our hospital.
After our medical team has assessed your case, we will send you a detailed treatment proposal and a quote.
